This is for all the Morrowind fans, and people who would have been Morrowind fans if Oblivion had not come along. In Oblivion, the daedric shrines are places where old people go to church. In Morrowind, there were orcs swinging claymores, vicious daedra, and a sense of fear in the air that was so strong you could almost taste it. Many young wannabe Nereverines died when they poked their noses into daedric ruins. The prudent young adventurer would see the strange towers and odd-colored stone in the distance, and turn around and leave. This location has a very different look to it. The interior and exterior architectural objects have been retextured using re-worked textures from Visual Pack XT, which was designed for retexturing Morrowind. The interior is a retextured Ayleid ruin with so many retextured bricks and blocks added, that parts of it are unrecognizable as what it used to be. The shrine is located far North-East of Cheydinhal, across the Cyrodiil/Morrowind border. It is far to the East of Dive Rock and Aerin's Camp. Look for the daedric shrine icon on your compass as you get close. This mod automatically removes borders, so there is no need to modify your Oblivion.ini file. While you are across the border, expect to encounter an ordinary amount of creatures. The landscape will not be dead and lifeless. At this shrine, many of the enemies you will encounter will not be leveled, so you may wish to be level 15 before going there. The enemies re-spawn, so if you have to leave the shrine for a long while, it will be hard again when you go back. The shrine can be raided multiple times because of the respawning monsters and some re-spawning treasure. The walls of the shrine are made of dark-reddish stone. It sucks in the light and leaves you in Stygian blackness. Be sure to bring some torches or have another plan for seeing in the intense gloom. If you go to this shrine, you might die. It is not too late to back out. **************************************** 2. Installation **************************************** Extract (decompress) the .esp file to your oblivion directory, the default is: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\ In your mod manager, mark the box next to the "Zergonipilamat 1_2" plug-in. Alternately, extract someplace else. Then move the .esp, Meshes, Textures, and Sound folders to Oblivion\Data\. This will merge the .nif, .dds, MP3, and .lip data files (Meshes, Texture, Sound, and lip movement files) from the mod with the data files on your computer. Often you can simply drop the "Data" file into the "Oblivion" folder. Make sure the files go into the proper directories they were in when you downloaded the mod. **************************************** 3. Version History **************************************** V 1.2 Improved finer-grained, higher-resolution textures. V 1.1 Fixed problem with missing textures. In Version 1.0 auto-detect created file paths specific to computers of this configuration. Version 1_1 should have file paths that work on all PCs. Object placement adjustments made. Landscaping adjustment made. V 1.0 Initial Release **************************************** 4. Conflicts, Known Issues, and Troubleshooting **************************************** No known issues or conflicts at this time. The mod will likely conflict with any mod which alters the same cells across the Cyrodiil/Morrowind border which this mod does. IF ANYONE DETECTS A MAJOR BUG WHICH MAKES THE MOD UNPLAYABLE, PLEASE SEND ME A PERSONAL MESSAGE ON TES NEXUS RIGHT AWAY. I WILL HOPEFULLY BE ABLE TO FIX IT AND RELEASE AN IMPROVED VERSION OF THIS MOD. **************************************** 5.
