Commonly we find people ranting on these boards about how they can barely ever find any armors that aren't built to be sexy. While such things are appreciated by the community (otherwise they wouldn't have such a high download count) there are the few of us that want something more... substantial.

This is what I seek to make a list of - links to armor mods that are for us who do not wish for these "Sexy armors" that is easily accessible by the community. If you find one that is not listed her, by all means please post a link and I will edit the first post to include it into the list. In the same Vein, if I have made some kind of mistake, please tell me so that I may correct it. The forum is here

Those marked ...

For some reason beyond my comprehension, Microsoft decided to disable the tilde key (~) when they have infrared turned on. On most desktop computers this is not a problem because they don't have IR capability. However, for laptops and media center desktops, as well as those desktops that do have an infrared receiver/transmitter it is a nuisance.

On the media center PC, the simplest fix is to unplug the IR from the PC. The tilde immediately returns to use.

On those with an IR that can not be simply unplugged, you will need to go into the control panel to disable IR.

On an XP system: Vista will be similar
Start>Settings>Control Panel
click on 'System' then the Hardware tab, then the 'Device Man ...

I used the programs Photoshop CS3, and DDS converter - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8698.

-First, converted the files
footfemale.dds => footfemale.psd (the body texture)
Lattamer.dds => Lattamer.psd (the head texture - in my case, a Lattamer)

-Open both files in Photoshop

-Click on the femalefoot.psd file
-Use the eyedropper tool, and take a sample near the neck line. This will give you the RGB values. Write these down on a piece of paper.

-Click on the "face".psd file
-Image>Adjustment>Levels [or simply ctrl+L]
-Use the eyedropper tool, and take another sample at the base of the neck (from the face texture).
-Select ...

This is how to use Oblivion Mod Manager to create a text file with your mod load list. This often when troubleshooting, or just to share the mods you're using.

Click the Import/Export button on the right:

Then Choose View Load Order from the drop box

You'll get a list box with your load order

Click the Disk at the top menu to save

Give it a name and save it on your desktop

Open the document in wordpad or notepad and
CNTL+A To select all, CNTL+C to copy all, and then
press CNTL+V to paste all into a post or a reply on the forum. ...

Clean up your PC
by Bben46

Many problems I see are related to overheating. Such as CTDs, video artifacts, sudden freeze which may or may not recover (not stuttering which is a very short pause)

The design of the PC contributes to this by sucking in dirty air through every small crevice in the case and depositing the dust on everything, especially fans.

To clean the pc, first power it off and UNPLUG it. There is power on your motherboard (5 volts)even when the power is switched off and a mistake can fry your motherboard and Power supply.

Most newer tower type PCs have a removable side, the left side when looking at the case from the front. Usually there are anywhere from one to three screws th ...
