Hi, I'm manmanman and if you find this helpful, give me a kudos ;-).
This is a tutorial for making a forum for your mod/mods. I've already made one. If you want to see it go to: http://www.castle-tirith.forum-motion.com

Okay, first go to www.forum-motion.com. Then up the top click Free Forum. Then click create on the middle left of the page. Now this part is hard to miss click the giant blue button on the bottom of the page that says Create a Free Forum. Click the button on whichever skin you like for your page then click next. Then you have to fill in the forms for what you want your page to say and other things. Then click continue. Then type in your password you created in the little box and click continue. Then its done! ...

This mod is for those of you that keep complaining about the drowning issue for smaller custom races.

This article was posted from the fact that my 'gnomes' mod kept getting complaints, forcing me to stop users being able to comment, so anyway i'm going off topic...

This tutorial is detailed and will tell you EXACTLY what to do...

1) Load you save game

2) Go to a magic shop that will sell WATER BREATHING or WATER WALKING spells.

3) Make sure you have enough GOLD to buy it and enough MAGICKA to cast it.

4) Purchase the spell.

5) Go to a nearby lake/river/oblivion lava pit and cast the spell.

6) walk into the water

7) If you cast a water breathi ...

Bben's Mod Advice

Original post 2/17/2010

This was originally intended for newcomers, but some of it is applicable to many problems I have seen.

Do play the game for a while with no mods so you will know what you would like to change, and be able to tell if it actually changed what you wanted it to.

DO NOT make the noob mistake of thinking you will save time loading a bunch of mods all at once. Any time you save will be more than lost in troubleshooting to find the mods that are causing problems.

DO start with a simple mod. Trying to install a large complicated mod that makes a lot of changes to the game will be much more difficult if you have not installed a few simpler mods first. Thi ...

Bben's Revert to Vanilla Data procedure

Original post 2/7/10
Edit: 2/9/10 clarify where to copy files to
Edit: 3/10/10 Redo Shivering Isles part to correct an error

Here is a troubleshooting suggestion - put your Oblivion back to an unmodified state. Using this procedure you can always revert to your current data folder with all of the mods and any problems they may cause. And then back to the unmodified with a simple rename A to C and B to A operation Where A is your current data, B is the Oldata and C is the unmodded data folder. Just remember which is what to keep from overwriting and losing anything.

Rename your data folder to something like oldata - the name doesn't matter as long as you know ...

Patch Advice

If you got your game through a download such as D2D, You have to go to them for any patches. The ones at the official site will not work because of the D2D copy protection. Programs like OBSE will probably not work because of the D2D copy protection. There is a special OBSE for the Steam version though. If you have a pirate version, sorry about your luck. Don't be so cheap, buy the game.

If you have the Game of the Year version, you don't need a patch as long as you have installed Shivering Isles. For some reason, Beth put the Oblivion Patch in the Shivering isles install instead of the Oblivion install.

To find what version you have, look in the ...

***As recommended by a friendly moderator :)

The original word document and my CM Companions can be found for download by searching my ID

I’ve had a few questions asked about my custom race CM companions, so, instead of responding in detail to each on how to edit them or create their own, I thought having a tutorial on hand would be simpler.

I’ve divided this into 3 parts so that even if you have no modding experience it will flow smoothly.

I. Creating a CM Partner
II. Making your new Partner a Custom Race CM Partner
III. Editing for sharing

Note: This tutorial is not meant to replace or copy other guides, or in any way besmirch or belittle others, but rather ...

Bben's Load order recommendations
by Bben46
Original document 11/14/09

Load order will not fix everything, some mods will just not work with some others, and some require special handling. There is no magic formula to set load order, just a set of general guidelines. If your load order works and you are able to play the game, it is right - for you.

Before you start messing with load order be sure you have patched to the latest version of the game - some mods will not work unless you do.
If any mod requires OBSE, be sure it is properly installed and you start the game using OBSE.
Be sure you have the proper tools to change the load order, usually OBMM and BOSS

Any mod that changes s ...

Posted by IV Anime on 15:25, 28 November 2009 in Releasing files

Hi everybody, Were IV Anime and as the name suggests We like Anime/Manga... But there just isn't enough good Anime/Manga mods out there, so we have made it our personal mission to make some. Starting right now:

Bleach will be our first overhaul;
as part of this we will release new items, Weapons, kido, Characters, Guid's and an giant quest...
This is an OVERHAUL as mentioned above meaning it completely changes the game. Think of it as BLEACH the game.

Add-ons make games so much better... And we're adding our own, Now we don't know in what order the add-ons will be released and they might change but here's a few ideas:

Dragon Ball;
This mod creates a new galactic arena where the pl ...
